Welcome to the South Carolina Figure Skating Club (SCFSC) Newsletter. Formerly known as Palmetto Skate Club, we have now officially rebranded as SCFSC. We hope this newsletters keep you updated with the club as much as possible.
Congratulations to the following skaters who have earned the title of "U.S. Figure Skating Gold Medalist". Earning this title means a skater has passed the highest test in the specified discipline.
Registration for Spring Show is Open!
Please register by April 15th, 2023. If performing only a solo or duet, you must still register with the rink and pay the show participation fee.
Spring show practice begins Saturday April 8th, 2023. Practice will happen every Saturday morning from 8:30-9am through the morning of the Show on May 20th.
The theme for the Spring Show is "Wizard of Oz". Just a reminder that music cuts are to be no longer than 1:30 +/- 10 sec.
We will be needing lots of volunteers to assist with the upcoming competition on April 29th. Please be on the look out for more information regarding that.
There will be no LTS/Group classes on April 13th and 15th due to Spring Break. There will still be Show practice that Saturday April 15th right after both freestyle session. Our next board meeting will also occur that Saturday!
