Club Coaches
Are you looking for private or semi-private lessons? Whether you’re a recreational or competitive skater, a beginner or an advanced skater, our club has many coaches who can work with you according to your needs while helping you develop your skating. Most lessons are 30 minutes in length but can be customized to your needs as well as coaches’ availability. Feel free to reach out to any of the coaches if you’d like to begin lessons with them.

Maria Grose

Skating History/Accomplishments: Maria grew up figure skating in St. Petersburg, Russia. She started skating at an outdoor rink at the age of 6 where her childhood hobby developed into a lifelong passion. She continued taking instruction until her adulthood and participated in numerous shows and competitions. Maria has been coaching at our rink for the last 11 years.
Interesting Facts: Maria is an elementary school teacher; she has a master’s degree in education and is currently working towards her PHD.

Skating History/Accomplishments: Tamara Grose is a Palmetto Skate Club homegrown skater and coach. She began her coaching journey as an LTS instructor 6 years ago.

- Working on her Solo Dances, she has passed all preliminary dances
- Competed for several years on a senior level at USFS competitions
- Won the 2018 best Axel iCoachSkating contest in her age group
